CONASA HIGHWAY COMPANIES TAKE ACTION TO COMBAT SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Via Brasil BR163 and Via Brasil MT, have joined the campaign “Faça Bonito. Protect our children and adolescents” campaign, alluding to the National Day to Combat Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Adolescents

Conasa's highway companies, Via Brasil BR163 and Via Brasil MT, have joined the campaign “Faça Bonito. Protect our children and adolescents” campaign, alluding to the National Day to Combat Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Adolescents, May 18.

The day aims to raise awareness and mobilize society to defend the rights of children and adolescents. To this end, Via Brasil BR163 distributed educational flyers to more than 2,000 users, with approaches at toll plazas and at the Yellow May road safety event, held on May 18 for users of the stretch.

Via Brasil MT carried out awareness-raising activities with employees at its headquarters and on the three stretches under concession. Awareness-raising activities were also carried out for external audiences.

On Via Brasil MT100, the team from the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) and the Alto Taquari Guardianship Council gave a talk to employees and drivers from the Atvos plant.

Meanwhile, on Via Brasil MT246, talks were given to employees with the presence of the Military and Civil Police and the Guardianship Council in the cities of Tangará da Serra and Barra do Bugres, as well as awareness-raising activities with truck drivers from the Marfrig and JBS companies, in Tangará da Serra.

On the Via Brasil MT320, an action was carried out with a talk and health services for drivers at Armazém Berlanda, in Alta Floresta.

Both companies are agents for the protection of children and adolescents. Via Brasil BR163 is a supporter, and Via Brasil MT maintains the “Na Mão Certa” Program, a Childhood Brasil initiative that aims to protect children and adolescents from sexual exploitation and abuse.

Be an agent of protection yourself! Stay alert, and if you suspect sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, report it. Dial 100 or contact the Military Police (190) and the PRF (191). Your report is anonymous.
