VIA BRASIL MT-246 STARTS CHARGING TOLLS AFTER APPROVAL OF THE CONCLUDED WORKS

Works raised the levels of safety and trafficability of the highway. Road assistance services will be provided to support users.

Via Brasil MT-246, a company that is part of the Conasa Group and covers stretches of the state highways MT-246, MT-343, MT-358, and MT-480, has finished the initial conservation and signaling work on the stretches under concession, raising the levels of safety and trafficability. It also included improvements to the sidewalk, the implementation and complementation of road signaling devices, safety and drainage, and the treatment of environmental liabilities.

With the conclusion of the work, technical teams from the State Department of Infrastructure and Logistics - SINFRA/MT, the State Agency for the Regulation of Delegated Public Services - AGER, and the Independent Verifier LBR Consultoria e Engenharia inspected the stretches on August 9 and 10. The inspection resulted in the approval of the initial work, following the administrative procedures that precede authorization to start charging tolls.

This phase was completed with the publication of the collection authorization in the Official Gazette of the State of Mato Grosso this Friday (26). Thus, the concessionaire was authorized to start charging tolls on the stretches of the concession, which will occur as of tomorrow, Saturday (27), at zero hour. The basic toll tariff is R$ 9.60 (passenger car).

Users of the highway can now count on the services of light winches/tow-cars, pre-hospital care, firefighting, traffic inspection, and road cleaning. Emergency phone number is 0800 835 0246.
