CONASA COLLABORATORS TAKE PART IN A LECTURE ON SEWAGE

Online event brought together collaborators from the company's various operations

On June 1st, Conasa promoted the online lecture with Eliane Tarrit, Head of ESG from Agir Social, to all Conasa collaborators. The workshop was another event to promote the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) culture and sustainability among its members and to disseminate concepts concerning current and relevant topics. At the end of the lecture, Elaine Tarrit invited the audience to reflect on their role in sustainability, considering their daily activities.

Conasa is committed to adopting good ESG practices with an agenda of actions towards guaranteeing principles of human rights, improving working conditions, environmental sustainability, anti-corruption practices, and social development – consonant with the UN principles – and also contributing to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The company has been a signatory to the UN Global Compact since 2022. Conasa is committed to guiding its business strategies and operations to the ten principles of this vital pact in human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The Global Compact is currently the world's largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative, which engages the private sector and other civil society stakeholders, such as labor and government organizations, with signatories in more than 160 countries.
